This F.R.O.G. (Free Room Over the Garage) in Eastern Virginia builder parlance, was an under functioning catch-all for all the extra stuff and in need of some design L.O.V.E! The inspiration began with the existing antler chandelier and a frog green David Hockney-esque area rug we found at Home Emporium, Chesapeake, Va. The contemporary/lodge mix evolved from there into this bright, multi-functional space with lounging and sleeping areas perfect for the homeowners and their sometimes-home college kids.
